Farming and Food security

South Africa as a country can be likened to a woman in the throes of giving birth – Her journey is all at once painful, heart wrenching, challenging, exhausting, filled with highs and lows, laughing, loving, sobbing, despairing and she holds on, gives it all, toughs it out, grits her teeth – all because she has a dream, a goal and she is filled with a spirit of anticipation…

I consider myself blessed and privileged to be a part of what I believe will make a difference in the process of transformation in South Africa.  My special fields of concern are education and agriculture and education in agriculture and I have been blessed to travel considerably with an awesome team of dedicated passionate development agents who through the work they do and the people they meet are significantly impacting our corner of the world in a way that fills me with HOPE for my motherland and our future! Halala South Africa! (Congratulations South Africa!)
